I’m always on the lookout for great tasting coffee. My favorites are the dark, rich and smooth varieties. The spoon looks pretty interesting.

The long story goes this way. Here at Back Alley Coffee we look at coffee as a process. We feel that a coffee that is the very best and that will bring back customers time and time again, begins with the coffee farmers and ends up with you savoring a hot cup. That being said, let’s look at this process and see if it truly is different than the others. First, how do we go about choosing our coffee? A trust, built up in our suppliers is the first step. They have personally cupped every coffee offered, beginning at the farm. If the coffee passes, they place an order. Once it arrives at the port, they again cup it before taking possession and then again when it reaches their warehouse. It is then graded as a specialty coffee. We only buy coffee that has received the highest of marks, even if the price is higher.
Why? We are interested in your coffee drinking experience, which means repeat business. After receiving the coffee from our suppliers we roast and cup each coffee to assure that the highest of expectations are realized.
